Your wisdom teeth may not all need the same treatment. A tooth that is fully visible can present a different removal challenge from one under gum or bone. The assessment helps establish which teeth need attention, the planned procedure for each and whether optional sedation is suitable.

The video uses Star Dental's September 2026 planning estimates. Fees can change, and other separately recommended services are not included in those examples. Use the full cost guide to prepare your questions, then ask for your own written estimate after the consultation and imaging.

Wisdom Teeth Removal Cost in Denver

What does wisdom teeth removal cost in Denver? Here is how Star Dental's published estimates fit together, and what needs a separate price.

The self-pay estimate is about two hundred twenty-five to five hundred twenty-five dollars per wisdom tooth. Four removal fees are about nine hundred to two thousand one hundred dollars. Local anesthetic and necessary follow-up are included. The consultation, necessary X-rays and optional IV sedation are separate. These are planning estimates, not guaranteed quotes.

A fully visible tooth may need a simpler removal. A tooth under gum or bone can need extra surgical steps, such as dividing it into sections. Your wisdom teeth can sit differently from each other, so the dentist assesses each tooth before estimating its removal fee.

The initial consultation and necessary X-rays together are estimated at one hundred fifty to two hundred dollars. The dentist examines your mouth and chooses appropriate imaging. A panoramic image often helps, and suitable recent images may be useful. These findings establish the treatment plan and your personal estimate.

Optional IV moderate sedation is estimated at five hundred to one thousand dollars, depending on the time required. That is separate from the local numbing included in the extraction estimate. Your health history and procedure help determine appropriate comfort options. IV moderate sedation is not the same as general anesthesia.

For four removal fees plus the consultation and necessary X-rays, the example total is about one thousand fifty to two thousand three hundred dollars. With IV sedation as well, it is about one thousand five hundred fifty to three thousand three hundred dollars. Other separately recommended services are excluded. Not everyone needs all four removed.

Ask whether Star Dental accepts your particular insurance plan. Your share can depend on the deductible, remaining benefits and covered services. The office may submit a treatment plan and X-rays for approval or a benefit estimate. An insurer's response helps with planning, but does not guarantee payment.

A useful estimate lists each tooth and its planned removal fee. It shows the examination, imaging and any optional sedation separately. Ask what follow-up includes and whether another service could add to the bill. Compare the same treatment items, not just the lowest starting number.
