How We Prepare Patient Information

Star Dental’s patient guides explain appointment choices, treatment processes, costs and practical questions in plain language. We separate what the office offers from general educational information, so you can prepare for a useful conversation with the team.

Where the information comes from

Practice information comes from Star’s published service and payment pages and details supplied by the office. General dental explanations draw on sources such as the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, university dental services and public health organizations. Colorado Medicaid information uses the state program and DentaQuest resources.

Relevant sources appear within the guides or in their source sections. Our source directory provides another way to find those references. A link to a health organization supports the associated explanation; it does not imply that the organization endorses Star Dental.

How to read timing and price information

Published price ranges explain their scope where possible, such as per tooth or per arch. They help you prepare for an appointment and are not a substitute for an estimate based on your diagnosis. Different procedures and separate services should not be treated as one package unless the estimate says so.

Timing statements also have a defined starting point. An eligible partial denture may be ready in as little as a week after impressions. Insurance steps, assessment, extractions or other preparation can affect the overall schedule. A same-day visit does not mean every treatment can be completed that day.

Information you should confirm directly

Call to confirm today’s opening, appointment availability, current fees and the steps required for your service. Online appointment requests need office confirmation. Coverage depends on your enrollment, procedure and applicable program rules.

The dentist makes a diagnosis after assessing you. These guides cannot decide whether a particular tooth should be removed, a denture can be repaired or a medicine is right for you. Use them to prepare questions and understand the discussion at your visit.

Images and examples

Office photographs help you recognize Star’s location and surroundings. Educational illustrations explain concepts such as denture stages; they are not before-and-after results or photographs of a particular patient’s treatment. Individual treatment plans can look different from a simplified illustration.

Corrections and questions

If a guide seems unclear or you notice information that may have changed, contact Star Dental and identify the page and the detail in question. For a personal dental problem, arrange a visit rather than relying on a website correction request.

For urgent dental concerns, call 303-222-1414. Trouble breathing or swallowing and severe spreading swelling require emergency medical attention; call 911 for breathing difficulty.
