Dental care that starts with understanding your mouth
You should leave a dental visit understanding more than the name of a procedure. What did the dentist find? Where is the problem? What can be watched, what needs treatment, and what should happen first? At Star Dental, we use visual explanations to connect those answers to your own teeth. An intraoral photo can show a visible area; an X-ray can answer questions about structures that cannot be seen from the surface. Your dentist decides which records are useful for the examination.
A routine new-patient visit can include cleaning, examination, appropriate X-rays and photographs, followed by a discussion of findings. Tell us when booking if your main concern is pain or a broken tooth. An urgent visit has a different starting point from a planned preventive appointment, and cleaning may need a separate visit depending on your needs.

From a finding to a treatment plan

Families often choose Star because they can discuss a range of dental needs in the same office. We see children of all ages and provide many services in-house, including denture care, wisdom-tooth care and scheduled sedation options. Our in-house denture technician is a particular advantage for patients planning replacement teeth or seeking repair assessment.

We are at 1490 S Sheridan Blvd, Suite 102, Denver, serving Denver, Lakewood and nearby communities. Our published schedule is 7 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 7 a.m.–5 p.m. Friday–Sunday. Call to arrange the service you need. Spanish-speaking support staff are available to assist with translation.

Can I come without dental insurance?

Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes, Star Dental accepts Health First Colorado Medicaid. The team needs to check your eligibility and the rules for the recommended service; acceptance alone does not establish every treatment’s coverage.
Will everything be done at the first appointment?
The first visit establishes what you need and what can be completed that day. More involved care, specific imaging, insurance approval, fabrication or scheduled IV sedation may require additional appointments.
