What “dentures in a week” means at Star
The one-week example applies chiefly to suitable partial-denture cases, measured from impressions to delivery. A partial replaces missing teeth while some natural teeth remain. The dentist first checks those remaining teeth, the spaces to replace and the health of the supporting mouth.
The appointment that establishes the plan may happen before the fabrication clock begins. Insurance approval, treatment of remaining teeth, extractions or healing can add time. Tell us your deadline at the first call—whether it is work, travel or an important event—so we can discuss what is realistic before you commit to a plan.

Why the in-house technician matters
Star’s denture technician works in the clinic, so denture work can be coordinated directly with the treating team. That is useful when discussing the intended design, appearance and production schedule. Certain cases may be considered for a rush, but the dentist and technician need to assess the work involved.
Speed should still leave room for the right appliance and a proper fit assessment. Tell the team what you liked or disliked about a previous denture, bring it if you have one and explain which missing teeth affect your daily life most. Those details help make the appointment specific to your needs.
Full dentures, immediate dentures and repairs have different schedules
Full conventional dentures usually involve impressions, a wax try-in and final fitting, followed by adjustments if needed. A wax try-in gives you and the team a chance to review the teeth before the appliance is finished. We do not apply the partial-denture one-week example to every full-denture case.
Immediate dentures are planned before extractions and placed afterward on the extraction day when appropriate. “Immediate” describes insertion relative to removal of the teeth; it does not mean arriving without a plan and having a new denture manufactured that day.
Denture repairs can usually be completed the same day at Star, after assessing whether the appliance can be repaired. Damage and repair requirements affect timing. Use the repair page if an existing denture has broken.
Cost and coverage questions to settle early
The published range for a conventional full or partial denture is $900–$1,100 per arch. It includes the conventional denture process described in our cost guide, with some initial adjustments. Extractions, immediate dentures, relines and specialist services are separate. A flipper or implant-supported plan needs its own estimate.
Star accepts Medicaid and uninsured patients. Ask whether approval is needed before impressions or fabrication and what the expected patient payment is for the planned service. The office fee is not automatically a Medicaid member’s charge.

Can everyone get dentures in a week?
No. Eligible partial dentures can usually be ready in as little as a week after impressions. The dentist must assess suitability, and preparation, approval or other treatment can change the total timeline.
Is the one-week timing for full dentures too?
Not as a general promise. Full conventional dentures have additional planning and trial steps. Ask for a case-specific schedule after assessment.
Can you rush a denture for a special occasion?

Do I have to mail anything to a lab?
