Dental Payment Plans in Denver
Looking for dental payment plans in Denver? Star Dental accepts CareCredit for approved applicants, as well as major credit cards, debit cards, cash and Zelle. The estimated patient portion is due at the end of each appointment. Ask about deposits before denture work, sedation or another procedure that may require advance payment.

Start with the treatment estimate
Before choosing how to pay, understand what you are paying for. Ask for the recommended procedure, alternatives, the estimated patient portion and any separate charges. If the treatment has several stages, request the expected cost for each stage and the completed plan.
An exam and appropriate images may be needed before an estimate can be reliable. Tell the office whether you have insurance, Medicaid or no coverage so it can explain the right process. Do not compare financing offers using two estimates that cover different work.
Payment options available at Star
| Option | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Major credit or debit card | Amount due and any relevant card terms |
| Cash | The payment amount for the appointment |
| Zelle | Obtain the correct payment instructions directly from the office |
| CareCredit | Approval, available credit and the terms of the selected offer |
| Insurance plus patient payment | The estimated portion you pay and what remains subject to claim processing |
The office’s insurance and payment guide describes these arrangements. Star does not present a general “treat now, pay the office later” policy. If you need more time to budget, raise that before the procedure rather than assuming a later billing arrangement.
How to approach CareCredit
CareCredit is a financing product with its own application and terms. Approval is not automatic, and an advertised offer does not necessarily apply to every purchase or applicant. Ask which options apply to your treatment amount, then read the agreement before accepting it.
Pay particular attention to the interest rate, repayment period, minimum payment, late-payment terms and whether an offer uses deferred interest. A minimum payment may not be enough to clear a promotional balance before its deadline. Use CareCredit’s explanation of how it works and the terms presented with your actual offer.
Ask about deposits before work begins
Some procedures, including dentures and sedation, may require a deposit. Confirm the amount, when it is due and how it applies to the treatment. If insurance later pays, the account needs to be reviewed for any eligible credit or refund; an estimated benefit is not the same as a final claim payment.
For a custom denture, also ask which fabrication stages have begun and what happens if the treatment plan changes. Get those answers from the office for your case rather than relying on a generic financing advertisement.
Staging care is a separate option to discuss
If several treatments are recommended, ask the dentist whether they can be divided into clinically appropriate stages. This can help organize appointments and anticipated payments. It is not a guarantee that urgent care can safely wait.
Our staged treatment guide explains how to ask about priorities, dependencies and follow-up. The clinical sequence should be settled before you decide that a payment schedule will work for you.
A five-question payment checklist
- What is the full expected treatment cost, including separate services?
- What is due at this appointment, and is a deposit needed later?
- Which amounts depend on insurance processing?
- If I finance, what will I repay under the actual terms?
- Who should I contact if the plan, coverage or payment circumstances change?
Keep your estimate and receipts. If something is unclear, ask before treatment starts. For an urgent concern, explain the symptoms when you call so the clinical need and payment questions can both be addressed promptly.
Frequently asked questions
Does Star offer CareCredit?
Yes, for approved applicants. Confirm the current financing options for your treatment and review the lender’s terms before accepting an offer.
Can I pay the office in monthly installments?
Star’s published policy is payment of the estimated patient portion at the end of each appointment. Financing and any case-specific arrangements should be discussed before treatment.
Are dentures paid for only when they are delivered?
Not necessarily. Denture work may require a deposit before fabrication begins. Ask for the payment schedule for your treatment plan.
Can I get a quote without an examination?
Published ranges can help you prepare, but the office may need an examination and images to identify the procedure and give a useful case-specific estimate.
