Full Dentures in Denver
Full dentures replace all teeth in an upper or lower arch. At Star Dental in Denver, the conventional process includes impressions, a wax try-in and a final fitting, with an in-house denture technician. Conventional full dentures generally cost $900–$1,100 per arch, with the full treatment estimate based on your assessment.
Is a full denture the right starting point?
If an arch has no natural teeth, a full denture can be considered to replace them. If teeth remain, the dentist should assess whether they can be kept and how that changes your options. A request to “get a plate” does not automatically mean every remaining tooth needs removal.
Bring any existing denture, even if you do not like its fit or appearance. Explain what you want improved: tooth shape, color, smile line, comfort, speech or stability while eating. These goals give the team a useful starting point for the examination and design discussion.
Impressions, wax try-in and final fitting
- Assessment and plan. The dentist examines your mouth, discusses goals and identifies any preparation or healing needed.
- Impressions and records. The team records the mouth and bite information needed to plan the appliance.
- Wax try-in. Trial teeth set in wax let you and the dentist review the arrangement before the denture is finished.
- Final fitting. The completed denture is placed, checked and explained.
- Follow-up. Report pressure areas, bite concerns or difficulty using the denture so the team can assess adjustments.
The sequence may need extra records or another trial if a change is needed. A useful timeline includes appointments as well as fabrication. It does not treat the time needed for extraction healing as if it were a laboratory step.
What happens at the wax try-in?
Think of it as a preview of the tooth arrangement. The team can guide choices about shape, size and shade, while you explain what looks natural to you. The dentist also checks clinical details such as how the planned teeth meet. Trial teeth are not the finished appliance you take home for ordinary use.
A wax bite record is a different step: it helps record how the jaws relate. The try-in reviews the proposed teeth. Understand the per-arch price
One arch means the upper or lower jaw. Star’s conventional $900–$1,100 per-arch range includes impressions, try-in appointments, delivery and some initial adjustments. It does not include extractions, immediate dentures, relines or specialist services. Ask for a combined estimate if both arches or additional care are involved.

Conventional or immediate dentures?
A conventional denture is made for the mouth at the planned stage after any required preparation and healing. An immediate denture is prepared before extractions and inserted afterward when suitable. Healing can change how an immediate appliance fits, so later care belongs in the plan from the start.
Star offers immediate dentures in appropriate cases. Read immediate denture planning if avoiding a gap without replacement teeth is a major concern. Neither option comes with a universal promise about adaptation or a single timetable for every mouth.

Are all future adjustments included?
The published conventional fee includes some initial adjustments, not unlimited maintenance. Ask which follow-up is included and when later work would have a separate charge.
Can full dentures be ready in one week?
The one-week example is chiefly for eligible partial dentures after impressions. Full dentures need their own assessment and appointment schedule.
